Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. | ISAIAH 54:2
In 1967, a small group of trailblazers sent by Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church established a new, independent congregation in Waterloo. Born out of a missional Sunday School program begun seven years earlier, Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church was founded and would soon see the completion of its own place of worship at 245 Lexington Road.
2017 marks WMB Church’s 50th anniversary. Celebrate 50 years of vision, mission and faith October 14-15, 2017. The weekend’s festivities will gather founders, current and former members and pastors to celebrate God’s faithfulness and look forward to years of ministry to come.
All attendees must register for Saturday’s events by Sunday, October 1, 2017. For your convenience we have set up an online registration process with credit card payment. If you experience difficulty with online registration, contact the Church Office.
COST | $10/person for the day includes Kick-off, lunch, the afternoon panel, and the evening program. The optional buffet dinner is an additional $30/person. As dinner seating is limited, register early to avoid disappointment.
GIFT REGISTRATION | In the spirit of Jubilee, we encourage you to share from your abundance by purchasing a registration package for someone else – someone you know who may not otherwise be able to afford the October 14 celebration. The online registration process also allows you to enter the name of and payment for a friend. See the registration page for instructions.
