Tools for School is Barnabas Missions’ new approach to providing families in our WMB and local communities with the tools they need to be successful at school. This year, parents can provide their children with school supplies by purchasing it at greatly reduced prices or volunteering their time in exchange for supplies. This mutual exchange of resources protects the dignity of participating parents by eliminating one group from being the ‘giver’ and another group the ‘receiver’. The best part is that families get to pick the specific items that they need to be equipped for school.
Safe collection of school supplies begins Sunday, July 19. See the supply list below.
If you are registered to attend our in-person services at either Kitchener or Waterloo sites, donation bins will be available at your assigned entrance.
Weekday drop-offs are available at the Waterloo site only, between 9am and 4pm. Drop your items in the bin outside the main doors and then ring the bell to let us know there are items for us to retrieve. No need to wait for someone to come to the door.
