Sunday FAQs
+ What do your services look like?
You will be greeted at the front door and ushers can help you find a seat. Join us in worshipping our Heavenly Father with a live band. Engage with a message delivered by one of our pastors. Following the service, connect with new/old friends in the foyer. You are also invited to join us for a complimentary Coffee Hour after services at both of our sites to connect with one another.
+ Will there be prayer ushers?
Yes! During worship, the host or worship leader will invite those who want prayer to come forward or to the foyer to meet with a trained prayer usher and receive prayer.
+ Are there kids & youth programs?
Yes! We are glad to offer options for families with kids to participate in Sunday services.
The whole church family gathers together in the sanctuary for worship at the beginning of the service. At an appropriate time of transition (typically before the message), families with children have a few options to continue in worship:
- Kids in Pre-K through Grade 5 may transition to Kids Church.*
- The Nursery is available for parents with infants and toddlers.
- Families may also remain in the sanctuary for the service if they wish.
Youth in Grades 6-12 are invited to participate in Sunday services and engage in weeknight Youth programs for teaching, fun and games. Check out our Youth page for more information.
Current Teaching Series
In Acts 17, Paul is in transit, waiting in Athens for friends to join him before he moves on to Corinth. While he is there, he is compelled to share the gospel. Paul expertly observes and adapts his message for the people and culture he is exposed to. In some ways, Paul is an influencer long before that term ever came to existence.
In our culture today, influencers affect others with their authority, knowledge, position, and especially with their relationship with their audience. Instead of influencing people for a particular product we are called to be an influence for Jesus. To share the gospel effectively within our own circles.
When we look at this text, we can pick up on some important themes and share practical ideas that can help us to be better influencers for Jesus. Our prayer is that we may see friends and loved ones come to know and experience Jesus in our own city and context today.
