Wumba Kids Camp is a super-fun, full-day camp for kids entering Grades 1-6!

Throughout the years, Wumba has the same aim - that our campers get to experience the life-changing love of Jesus through the friendships they make, the scripture they explore and the leaders who invest in their lives. Whatever background or faith you come from, we invite you to join in the fun this summer to see what God has in store!

Before signing up for Wumba Kids Camp, please review all registration details carefully, including dates, pricing, theme registartion and required forms. Space fills quickly throughout the summer, so early registration is encouraged. If you have any questions or need assistance, our team is here to help!

Registration Costs

Day Camp: $250 per week, per camper*  |    After Care: $50 per week, per camper*

* Scholarships are available if you are unable to pay the full registration cost. Please fill out this scholarship form.

Theme Registration

Each child may only attend once per theme. Thus, campers may only be registered once for either week 1/2, once for week 3/4, and once for week 5/6. This helps to provide a fresh, stimulating program for your child. Please note that a separate registration must be completed for each week.

REGISTRATION REMINDERS:

  • Please fill out scholarship form prior to registering if you intend to apply for a scholarship.

  • At Wumba we run 4 "themes" of camp. We require that campers are only registered once per theme. Thus, campers may only be registered once for either week 1/2, once for week 3/4, and once for week 5/6.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Through a variety of activities like outdoor games and STEAM activities, kids have the opportunity to explore all kinds of fun & play while building what we hope will be life-long friendships with peers and leaders alike. Each day, we tie in a faith component, facilitating Bible exploration and discussion about God and His great big love for us.

  • Yes! Please register your campers for each individual week they attend.

  • Yes! Please note: duplicate programs are offered in weeks one and two; three and four; five and six. If your child is attending for more than one week, we ask you register for just one week per theme.

  • We recognize that the cost of camp can be a burden to some families. In a desire to make Wumba accessible, we offer scholarships. If you are unable to pay the full cost of camp, please fill out the scholarship form prior to registration of your camper. We will contact you within 1-5 business days of filling out the form to let you know if you qualify for a scholarship.

  • Cancellations initiated by the parent/guardian received by noon on the Monday prior to the first day of that camp week will be issued a FULL refund, less the credit card fee.

    Cancellations received after noon on the Monday prior to the first day of that camp week are NOT ELIGBLE for a refund.

  • Kids bring their own lunches and morning snacks (no nuts, please!), and we provide snacks for the afternoon nutrition break.

  • Absolutely! You may pick up your camper any time from after-care!

LIT PROGRAM

Our LIT program provides youth entering grades 9-11 the opportunity to grow as a disciple of Jesus, a leader, and share the love of Jesus with campers. LIT’s experience discipleship-based sessions, practical workshops, help with camp preparation, and then serve for at least three weeks of day camp. This year we had 8 amazing LITs!
