Believer’s baptism is a personal and public declaration of a new association with Christ, a symbol of Christ’s burial and resurrection. It is not a condition of salvation – it is evidence of your salvation and that you already believe.
At WMB, we practise baptism by immersion, symbolizing the association with Christ’s burial and resurrection, and following Christ’s example (Mark 1:9) and command (Matthew 28:19-20). We acknowledge that those who are baptized as believers in Jesus Christ no longer live as isolated individuals, but become members of the body of Christ. Through baptism at WMB, those who are baptized are adopted into, and are accountable to, the WMB Church family as their home church – with new brothers and sisters in Christ.
