We offer different groups and courses for you to join to experience community, grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus and to serve His Kingdom.
GROUPS AT WMB
Home Groups
Home Groups are small groups of disciples on mission together. They are the place where we can study scripture and intentionally grow as followers of Jesus together.
Our Home Groups are diverse, both in make-up and location. They study scripture, including Sunday teaching and other content, seeking to intentionally grow as followers of Jesus, live out His Kingdom mission and invite others. Most groups meet weekly, at a church site or in homes all over the city – a few even have members who Zoom in when they’re out of town! They share meals, stories, vulnerability, prayer, growth and much more.
Focus Groups
Focus Groups meet for a specific purpose, as we seek to provide ways to grow as disciples and apply our faith to all different parts or seasons of life.
With each group, you can expect bible study, prayer and conversation as we build relationships to serve and grow as followers of Jesus in community. Most focus groups are ongoing and always welcome newcomers. Click the images below to learn more about the different Focus Groups we offer at WMB!

Freedom Session | Kitchener
Beginning January 9, 2025: Freedom Session is a powerful, healing-discipleship journey, inviting you to rewrite your story with a God-inspired ending. Through biblical teaching, small group discussion and personal reflection, Jesus will heal your heart and empower you to live a life of freedom and purpose. Learn more here.
The Marriage Course | Online
Beginning January 13, 2025: Want to build a better, stronger marriage? Join us online from the comfort of your living room, for this seven week course, run by Alpha, to build into your relationship together through videos, online group sessions and private conversation to built intimacy and connection together.
Experiencing God | Waterloo
Beginning January 21, 2025: Experiencing God offers an opportunity to be awakened into to a radically God-centered way of life. Join us for this 13 session study using the newly revised Experiencing God study guide. God is inviting you into an intimate love relationship through which He reveals to you His will, His ways, and His work. When you recognize where God is working, you can join Him in what He is doing. Carefully listening to His voice will anchor you in His plan and set you free to live it with boldness and freedom. Then you will experience God doing through you what only He can do.
Dying With Christ: Living With Hope | Waterloo
Beginning January 13, 2025: Dying with Christ – Living with Hope presents a hope-filled perspective on a universal experience: death and dying. The three-week discussion, led by theologians and healthcare professionals, will give timeless perspectives on suffering, grief, dying, our duty to care, and how dying with Christ is attainable for everyone.

This is WMB
What is WMB Church all about? In this 2-session course you will gain an understanding of WMB’s mission, vision and objectives, and the various ministries that are part of our church. Our hope is that these two sessions will help connect you the WMB Community.
Alpha | Waterloo & Kitchener
Beginning Spring 2025: Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space where people come and discuss life’s big questions in a friendly, open and informal environment. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. Dinner is included at no cost. Invite a friend!
