Summer Book Study: Emotionally Free

Wednesdays, July 7 – August 25 (8 weeks)
7:30-8:30pm on Zoom

Sign up to join a summer study of Dr. Grant Mullen’s book “Emotionally Free,” which will introduce you to a three-step pathway to physical, spiritual and emotional transformation. We’ll read a portion of the book each week, then meet together on Zoom on Wednesdays to share our learnings and experiences. WMBer Rachel Dyck will facilitate our discussions.

Topics the book explores include:

  • mood disorders are and how they are diagnosed and treated medically

  • how conditions like depression, anxiety and mood swings affect Christians in a unique way

  • how spiritual attack can affect your emotions

  • understanding where your spiritual authority comes from and how to use it to set yourself and others free

  • emotional baggage and how past experiences affect your present relationships.

The most powerful message of the book is that no matter how intense your struggle is now, God is waiting and willing to set you free.

Sign up even if you will be away for one or more weeks – taking the whole summer, this will be an easy-paced book study to allow you to work through the book at a reasonable tempo. Suitable for youth and adults.
