TEACHING CHURCH
WMB Church is excited to be a Teaching Church with our MB Seminary!
Through this partnership, we are able to provide seminary-quality teaching and workshops right here at WMB. Twice annually, we will host MB seminary faculty for live weekend workshops, in which teaching will be contextualized to our congregations. At the same time, there will also be the opportunity or take courses for credit or earn a graduate certificate.

CARING AS GOD’S PEOPLE (DSC 520)
Caring as God’s People is a course that will equip you for the practical ministry of caring. Rooted in biblical and theological understanding, we will focus on the development of skills that will help you nurture connections between daily life and the presence of God. You will grasp an understanding of common stressors and the ministry of connection through care that reveals God is present and active in all of life.
Caring as God’s People will equip individuals within congregations to care for each other and for those beyond the walls of the church. This course recognizes that God is ultimately the source of all comfort, and that God uses his people to reveal him through compassion-in-action.
