Strange New World: Interaction of the Gospel, Church & Culture

Is the world around you the same as it was when you were growing up? Doesn't it seem like things are in a constant state of change? Why is this? How does the constant changes in the world effect how the church views living out our identity as followers of Jesus?

In this 6-week study Jeff MacLeod (PhD Contextual Theology) & Harvey Goossen (historian/teacher) are going to explore some of the historical, philosophical and technological factors driving identity today. How we got here, and how the scriptures and our identity in Christ shape our response. By looking at the early church in Acts and the teachings of Jesus, we are given a beautiful picture of a worldview centered in Christ. Jesus shows us that there is a way to navigate this "Strange New World”.
